Alessandro Brannetti will be the first rider to take the new bike out at the Valencia test, which takes place from December 9-10. The 29 year-old, from Porto Sant’Elpidio, near Ancona, rode in the Italian Supersport Series this year.moto2_at02

The bike, for which the chassis has been designed and developed by Diego Golinelli, has been engineered by ADV using reverse engineering and rapid prototyping techniques, carried out by CRP Technology.
The use of Windform in the rapid prototyping process allowed excellent results to be obtained, even with complex procedures such as the connection of the existing CBR600RR Honda engine to the prototype of the chassis. It also aided the improvement of the aerodynamic flow.

Other applications were also made, and after the first test of the AT02 the prototype will be made available for teams to order in Spring 2010.

The WTR San Marino Team will be ADV Advanced Technology’s partner team for the 2010 Moto2 season
